Jennifer Freeman, Co-Owner of Caring Transitions of Denver Southeast

For 15 years, Jennifer taught first grade while also building and running an online skincare and haircare business. She grew that business all the way to the top of her company. 

She led a large team and learned how sales and organization work by building something from the ground up.

She's the first to note how different that world was from this one. "It's a little ironic," she says.

"One of my businesses was very much more glamorous and this one is not as much so." 

What connects them is the part that always mattered to her, working directly with people and helping them solve a real problem.

The roots of that instinct go back to a farm in North Dakota, where Jennifer grew up watching her grandparents move through their own later-life transitions, from the farmhouse, to town, to senior living, with a family that stayed close through every step.

So when Anne first talked to her about Caring Transitions, the decision came easily. "It really spoke to my heart and who I am as a person," Jennifer says.

"Having my background in education, being in a field where you are giving back and it's very rewarding and you're working with families all the time, it just seemed to be a really natural fit."

Her years in the classroom gave her patience and a knack for meeting people where they are. Her years in business gave her the discipline to deliver. She brings both to every family she works with.

Jennifer measures a project by how a family feels when it's finished, not only by what got sold or moved. It's a lesson she carried straight over from her old career.

 "What we do is we help people solve problems, we meet them where they are, and we walk alongside them," she says. That instinct, honed leading a sales team for 15 years, shows up now in every family she works with. 

That reputation carries weight across Denver. The realtors and senior living partners who refer families her way describe the team simply.

"Anne and Jen are great to work with."

Jennifer brings 15 years in education, 15 years building and leading a successful business, and hands-on training in the Caring Transitions model. Since opening Denver Southeast with Anne about 18 months ago, the two have worked with between 55 and 65 Denver families on senior moves, estate liquidations, online auctions, and full home cleanouts.

The team has earned recognition twice from Caring Transitions corporate for auction performance, including the firehouse sale, where they auctioned actual fire trucks through CT Bids. They've built lasting referral relationships with senior communities including Brookdale, Woodland Oaks, MorningStar, Claremont Park, and Five Star.

Jennifer Freeman co-owns Caring Transitions of Denver Southeast alongside Anne Kedl, serving Greenwood Village, Cherry Hills Village, Parker, Aurora Hills, and the communities south of Colfax. A former first-grade teacher and successful business leader, she helps Denver families move, downsize, and clear out homes with a focus on making the process feel far less overwhelming.
